Congressman Rev. Cleaver Accidentally Makes An Accurate Comparison

First of all, I find it interesting that Cleaver reveals that the House isn't just one or two votes shy of passing the Senate's health care bill... which was the widely held conventional wisdom. But that he thinks that they may be short by 15 or 16 votes.

He then goes on to liken the Health Care legislation to 'milk' that has 'been left out on the counter for too long' and that it's 'starting to smell'.

I think many Americans would agree that the Health Care Bill is a lot like spoiled milk. A staggering majority of people simple throw out sour milk as soon as they realize that it's gone bad.

However, when the milk goes bad at Rev. Cleaver's house, apparently that means that its time to hurry up and force all of his neighbors to just shut up and drink it.

I also appreciate Congressman Moore's candor when he essentially says that, "Yeah, this bill is shit. So we need to hurry up and enact it so that we can try to fix it."

So to follow that logic;

Health Care is a problem...

To fix it:

1: We need some imperfect legislation which will cause a slew of wholly new problems...

2: Then we try to fix the new problems that we caused with our imperfect legislation...

3: ???

4: All problems get fixed!!! (plus Green Jobs! (probably))

Cleaver is a moron. When the CBC went to Cuba last year to tell Castro how great he is, Cleaver was flabbergasted by the realization that not every Cubano had their own cell phone. Since he is a goon, and Sprint HQ is in is district, he told Castro he will link him up with the Sprint company so they can do business.

Yep. Cubans don't have cell phones because they don't know enough about them. No other reason.

Hey, Emanuel, I bet you could solicit more Sprint business in north Korea.
